Systematic Theology Class

The Doctrine of Salvation

Understanding the Bible’s teaching on salvation gives us assurance, helps us understand, and equips us to share with others. In this class we’ll look to the Bible to answer some of the biggest questions about salvation:

  • How can I know I’m truly saved?
  • Did Jesus die for all or only the elect?
  • If I’m predestined, what about free will?
  • Can salvation be lost?

Class meets every Sunday morning from 9-10.

HGC Kids

At the 9:00 hour, HGC Kids meets to learn one question and answer from the New City Catechism. They are also taught how to read the Bible for themselves.

During the 10:30 worship service, the kids sit with their families for the singing and then are dismissed to their class. Over the course of three years, they will be taught the entire Bible. We use the Generations of Grace Curriculum.

Life Group

Church is more than Sunday worship service attendance. Christians are called to bear one another’s burdens (Gal. 6:2 ), build each other up (Eph. 4:16), and sacrificially love one another (John 13:34-35). Every gathering, we meet in a home, share a meal, discuss and apply Sunday’s sermon and pray together.

Life Group meets every Wednesday evening in a church member’s home from 6:30-8:00.

HGC Youth

The teenage years are formative in a young person’s life. HGC Youth is rooted in the Gospel (1 Cor. 15:1-4), focused on discipleship (Matt. 28:18-20), and passionate about teaching the Bible (2 Tim. 3:16-17). Every week we meet to hear Scripture taught, and to foster meaningful friendships.

HGC Youth is on Thursday from 6:30-8:00
